This laptop does have an HDMI out listed (have to click on the PDF) - it only comes with the 8400 GT option videocard.

If it only does 1280 x 800 resolution, then it can only output 720p max.

The website talks about Full 1080 HD, in regards to what Blu-Ray supports, not the laptop.
