Hey i just got the game and I was wondering a couple of things. Is there any way to display the FPS in this game or not and my other question is how do i talk in the channel? whenever i talk its the /say. Does this broadcast through the channel or do i have to type something else? Thanks

Try CRTL+R for FPS, I believe.
As for chatting in the channel, well, I'm a level 33 paladin and I don't actually know.

To chat in a channel you do /# then your text. So say to talk in general you would go:

/1 Hi, I'm too fucking retarded to read my quest text, somone please help my stupid dumbshit self find whatever blatantly obvious thing i'm looking for.

and then reply and say : /1 found it, never mind

The command to talk are:

/s = say
/y = yell
/p = whisper
/r = reply
/g = guild
/1 = Ch 1 (general)
/2 = Ch 2 (trade)
/3 = Ch 3 (local defense)
/4 = Ch 4 (lloking for group)
/raid = raid channel

There is also a world defense channel. You can also set up private chats rooms but never have.

I've noticed that /2 - trade isn't everywhere and I've never noticed anyone actually using /4 - looking for group.

IIRC, /p actually turned on party chat. /w or /t would let you whisper (tell).

Also, /1 for general /2 for trade etc. were defaults. If you left those channels and then rejoined in a different order, you could get /1 as defense, /2 as general, etc. The trade channel was only available in the major cities IIRC.

Trade channel only exists in the capital cities, they don't want people spamming adventure zones with sale messages, of course people still try...
