I hope it's not a Hitman reskinAre we expecting a Hitman type game?
Are we expecting a Hitman type game?
pls noBecause they don't say James Bond, specifically. I'm willing to bet it will have a character creator.

I'm hoping they go with Goldeneye/Perfect Dark-style objective-based mission structure, with Hitman's sandbox level design and stealth mechanics (disguises, hiding bodies, etc.), but balanced a bit more towards combat than Hitman is. Where it's fun to sneak around and be stealthy, but just as fun to let it flow into full-blown combat when you get caught. I'm fine with either first-person or third-person.

Original story with their own Bond is a good idea. If they wanted, they could even provide a character creator that way. Would be fucking hilarious if someone makes an ugly as fuck Bond going all "shaken not stirred" in his tuxedo.
I dunno. I don't think I've seen bond poison someone's sandwich before nor have I see agent 47 get his dick wet.The Hitman games are basically unlicensed Bond games anyway.
Crossing my fingers that you play as some sassy black broad with a Walther PPK hidden in her afro
But i doubt they will go for the middle aged white man...
Good grief, do some of you never get tired of peddling this nonsense? It's like you're desperate for them to change it just so you can shout "HA, SEE!", also why is it always the same script? You always mock them changing it to a black woman, never anything else, at least be creative in your woke fear because at this point it just looks like you're targeting black women.Hope it's not as woke as No Time to Die, or I'll skip.
That's the only part of what you wrote that I give a shit about, cheers for the info.Good grief, do some of you never get tired of peddling this nonsense? They said they're doing a JAMES BOND game with their original JAMES BOND following HIS story. The most you have to fear is a race change.
Yeah, I would imagine something like the Hitman mission stories would be how the core game is presented, but there would also be the option for freeform (maybe even like a separate instance of the map is freeform, vs the "story" version of the map). A casual Bond fan is probably not going to want to load up the new Bond game and just be dropped into a massive level Hitman style, but at the same time there is really no other game like these out there so they need to still play to their strengths.I'm hoping they go with Goldeneye/Perfect Dark-style objective-based mission structure, with Hitman's sandbox level design and stealth mechanics (disguises, hiding bodies, etc.), but balanced a bit more towards combat than Hitman is. It says 007, that is James Bond. if it was just a double O game, I could see a character creator, but playing in that universe is fun because you are Bond.Because they don't say James Bond, specifically. I'm willing to bet it will have a character creator.

this will be an all new digital Bond that is not inspired by a Bond actor
Exactly my thoughts. After seeing how great Hitman 3 turned out, I'm very excited to see what IO cooks up. They have a good eye for level design and replay value. James Bond has needed some love for a long time, I used to love some of the older games.I'm stoked. Can't really think of a better developer I would choose for this.
