A original Sonic exclusive for the Rev?

This should be good. Hopefully the Revolution will launch with both a Sonic and Mario title. Nice bit of synergy, there.

Been playing a lot of Sonic Gems Collection over the weekend and I have to agree that Sonic CD is still the best 2D entry in the series (possibly Sonic 2 might challenge it). But I really do love the Sonic Adventure titles. I hope Sonic on revolution can keep the spirit of those games alive.

It'll be interesting to see what Sega comes up with. I don't see the appeal of playing sonic with the nunchuck. But I guess this is what their job is to make it work.

I would rather see NiGHTS with this controller....Revmote seems perfect for this game!

A NiGHTS port to DS or NiGHTS 2 for Revolution would rock.

It just makes sense.

Sonic is pretty easy to do. All you need to do is jump and run (and jump again to attack).

a revo Sonic is a nice start, but if Sega doesn't bring back Samba de Amigo on this console, they are crazy. I know you're reading this Sega...

Monkey Ball Revolution also has to be a complete no-brainer.

It's kinda funny that Sega has so many franchises that really could work with a one handed controller with minimal buttons ...

Sonic
Monkey Ball
House of the Dead
NiGHTS
Samba Di Amigo

Panzer Dragoon would probably also work well with the Revmote.

I will be a happy man if that happens.

I'd like to see Sega do an original RPG for the Revolution. That, and retrofit the Phantasy Star series to work with the one-hander (my personal term for the freehand portion of the Revmote :)) RPG's are perfect for one handed solutions. Japanese third parties have been making one handed RPG controllers for years, actually.

Also...not Sega related, but. Old news? It's from yesterday. Didn't see a topic, but maybe i'm blind.

January 22, 2006 - Grasshopper Manufacturer's Gouichi Suda (aka Suda 51) has once again made reference to his support for Nintendo's Revolution console. At the "Hopper's Vol.1 25H Our Party People" event held in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward on a snowy Saturday evening, Suda confirmed that work on a Revolution project has already started at his studio. He would not reveal details beyond this.
