Alright, I know that the US version of Ridge Racer added in the new MAX tour. But from what I can find, it looks like they played with the pun-tacular tour names.

Can someone out there confirm that these are the correct tour names for the US version?

BASIC 01: INITIATION
BASIC 02: DRIFT TIME
BASIC 03: INSIDE LINE
BASIC 04: DRIFT CHALLENGE
BASIC 05: DRIFTASIA
BASIC 06: DRIFT MANIA
BASIC 07: PROFESSOR D
BASIC 08: TOUR DE RIDGE

Some examples of the supposed changes..

JP = US
Driftic 202 = Inside Line
Come To Drifty = Drift Challenge
Mad Drift Disease = Drift Mania
Block Rockin' Drifts = Rock'N'Drift
Drift Is The Message = Thriller

I'm interested to see how they handled "Mr. Drift's Nightmare," "Eat Up or Die" and "Throbbing Drift Cat."

From what I can tell, MAX tour is just another set of tours. No new tracks or such, just a couple more playlists, if you will.

That's pretty fucking lame. With an extra 3 months all they could be bothered with was to add "new" races to the game with no rewards? Should have known Namco, should have known. Good thing I imported. :lol

I would have bought the US version too if they had added some trakcs that I think that wouldn't be very difficult to implement from RRV like Above the City, Green Field or Outer Pass...
The airport track from R4 would be welcome as well...Although this would suppose a bit more of work.
