Rob Schneider's in Australia this week and during an interview about the "Deuce Bigalow" sequel by the popular Sunday program, he dropped some interesting talk about a film adaptation of classic sitcom "Gilligan's Island". 'Patty' watched the interview and filed this report:

"He says he visited Michael Caton on the set of "Dancing with the Stars" this week because he and Adam Sandler are keen for him to be play the Millionaire in a "Gilligans Island" movie they've got in mind. Schneider gave Caton a key role in "The Animal" but "wasn't crazy about the movie". Apparently Caton was kicked off "Dancing with the Stars" that night and Schneider says he "jinxed him being there...so now I've got to get him a role in a movie don't I?".

According to Schneider, Sandler would be Gilligan, and "we're thinking Brian Dennehy might do a good job" as The Skipper. He also said Sandler had asked about Aussie former Miss Universe Jennifer Hawkins to play a role in "Click", his new movie, but they're keeping her in mind for something else. Schneider's next film will be called "Big Stan" which he will direct and Sandler will appear in."

He's a really good actor, although he hasn't been in much major stuff. I also saw him star in a Death of a Salesman production several years back.
