they were straight punk rock for 2 or 3 albums, then they changed to hardcore, now they are somwhere in between with a bit of electronic mixed in.

I love you! I honestly never expected an AFI topic to appear on this forum while I visited here, but glad to see I was wrong.

I'm tempted to get this, but I'm not sure yet. Any news or rumors of a hidden track or something that would really justify the buy? I mean I own just about all of what's on there, so I'm a little sketchy.

Anyways, as far as the selection. VERY nice, I think it's a great buy for those who don't know what AFI, but wanna give them a shot. Or who have only heard the new stuff and want to hear some of the more popular older tracks to get what older fans are talking about. I don't see a single thing on there that isn't justified, I'm more saddened at the lack of other songs. There's just a ton of a good stuff from them, and it's just so hard to pack it all out on one CD. A shame.

Oh right, I love two of their songs. The Leaving Song pt 2, and This Secret Ninja. I might get this.

There's a good mix of their older and slightly newer stuff.
