The battle theme..just freaking awesome.

The above pic is probably cgi from the opening. I mean, Age of Empires II was released around 1999, but the intro trailer puts any graphics shown from the next generation of consoles to shame.

That looks pretty real time to me. Look at the terrain textures and tree models. If it's CG, it sucks ass.
