Remember the horror of me losing my precious?

Well, I'll need to get a new one - so I need help with the following:

1. Best deal on a PSP Value Pack + Ridge Racers
- must be webstore known reliable
- accepts Mastercard or Diners
- ships UPS to Scandinavia
- so far seen Play-Asia @ 336.67 EUR, Lik-Sang 336.52 EUR

2. Latest buzz on region coding in games

3. Will the US online games work on the Japanese PSP?

In case the two latter questions turn out nasty, I might need to set up a US trip for late March :-)

Are you rich?? I wouldn't put a another damn nickle into purchasing a psp at the moment. Wait until the US version is out

I have had 2 PSPs. I know the feeling of having had one and then all of a sudden not having one...
I understand you. :)
Anyways in my case I was able to sell the first one with little losses...little considering the great operation I did to my PSP...

Wait till the 24th of March you'll get Spiderman and Ridge Racers will only be 39.99 at least thats what namco is telling us. So cool your jets and wait a while. You'll save some money.

Not rich but well insured. And flying at least twice over the Atlantic and back before the US launch, so plenty of spare time to play.

2. I think the fat lady from Sony, forgot her name, said there was no region coding on games, just on the UMD movie, ala DVD regions.

3. Not sure about online US games working, but I was able to take my japanese PSP and connect to my home network and to my company's network. So I dont think that would be a problem

Chittagong, you need it NOW! :P

Just imagine putting both your Ipod Shuffle and PSP in front of you in the Airplane

The White and the Black!

Actually if you left it on an international flight, then it was destroyed according to FAA regulation. Anything left on an international flight is incinerated.

wha? BA has an Onboard Lost & Found line. I called again today:

Me: "I forgot a Sony PSP to a BA plane landing on Heathrow last Tuesday?"
She: "You forgot a what?"
Me: "A Sony PlayStation Portable. Kinda like Game Boy, but with a big screen."
She: "Oh, I see. Please hold on, I'll check"

* presumably she gets a cup of coffee, chats with her mate about girls weekend out *

She: "Sorry, none have been reported."

She was probably watching porn on it while she had you on hold :)

Wow, as if it wasn't bad enough that the lost and found lady stole his PSP, now he has to picture a massive set of throbbing balls on his old PSP.
