If the camera is what throwing you off, many bikeriders wear these days, to look at cool footage but also its no different to a dashcam
I think it's also often so that if you get in an accident, which motorcyclists are more likely to be in, then they can use the recording to prove they weren't at fault if the other person was acting like a dipshit.

I guess the way I saw it-the bike was in gear when he tried to pick it up. Obviously flustered. He held back punches. He could have done a lot worse here but falling while on a bike isn't fun. Easy to break an ankle/leg even at super slow speeds. I've been yelled at for "going too fast", had people jump in front- while ~20 mphs. Bikes have a bad image in general (there are a lot of people that misbehave on them for sure)- as a bike rider of 20 years (and much more mature now), I wasn't too surprised at a lot of this. Topped with the fact that people sometimes want to get their fame by extension from celebs, etc.
Yep, done similar, I didnt lose control or anything though, but yeh, its adrenalin etc. you just arent thinking straight in some situations and you make simple mistakes you normally wouldnt make.

I despise reckless bikers because I live in Brazil and we have the most bonkers lane splitting situation in the world. Some low life asshole at 60mph between cars with modified exhausts is the norm here.
But in this case you can't condemn Alan, I probably would have done the same specially if this asshole does this in front of my child.
This whole situation is just another incredible advertisement for dashcams.
First time I saw the video I was like "he's really pulling his punches." If he actually wanted to fuck up the neighbour, instead of just get him to stop, then he could easily have done so.
