The closest you could ever get to this result would be if Arksys collaborates with Capcom and makes it look like DBFZ.I hope Street Fighter goes back to 2D in the future.
That would be my dream Street Fighter. With artstyle like Guilty Gear Strive. Now that would be amazing. The closest you could ever get to this result would be if Arksys collaborates with Capcom and makes it look like DBFZ.
The best thing to realistically hope for is a change of artstyle in SF7.
I don't know what the relationship between Capcom and Arksys currently is, but I'm just hoping that the recent Marvel Tokon deal with Sony didn't sour any potential future collaborations between the two of them. That would be my dream Street Fighter. Not only is not going to be 2D, next game will go on all in photorealistic.I hope Street Fighter goes back to 2D in the future.
Even more realistic than now, that would suck? How do you know? Not only is not going to be 2D, next game will go on all in photorealistic.
It's 2D now. If you mean not use 3D polygons? That's not happening. The best we can hope for is remakes of older sprite based games.I hope Street Fighter goes back to 2D in the future.
Because they are not going to go back to an art style that mainstream considers inferiorEven more realistic than now, that would suck? How do you know?
Nah, Capcom's fighting dev cares too much about hand-crafted 3D animations. Not only is not going to be 2D, next game will go on all in photorealistic.
Whoever "handcrafted" Cammy's animations should have their hands cut off. Her new stuff looks terrible.Nah, Capcom's fighting dev cares too much about hand-crafted 3D animations.

I think they prefer the exaggerated look of their games.
If I were a betting man I would have said Mortal Kombat would be the first one to go all in on photorealistic for both the nostalgic factor and also the fact that they were headed in that direction anyway, but now I don't know if they will exist in the same capacity post-Netflix.
Which move or taunt? I've seen the same quality with her besides only her super, which to me was a bad artistic choice (the whole 'anime super speed' thing never looks quite right outside of DBZ).Whoever "handcrafted" Cammy's animations should have their hands cut off. Her new stuff looks terrible.
Lol, that looks great and actually really hurtful.Which move or taunt? I've seen the same quality with her besides only her super, which to me was a bad artistic choice (the whole 'anime super speed' thing never looks quite right outside of DBZ).

They even went as far as to animate the multiple jiggles and smaller muscles.

Her throws. Although the air one looked crap in SFV too to be fair.Which move or taunt? I've seen the same quality with her besides only her super, which to me was a bad artistic choice (the whole 'anime super speed' thing never looks quite right outside of DBZ).
