Man, Sloane went NUTS at the end. I hope they take him to the edge and show us what happened when he and Nadia went off between this and last season.

Wow, that was a really good episode -- particularly the end.

It's insane how much the Sloane impostor looks and acts like Sloane. The actor that played him did a brief stint on Oz (HBO) and I remember totally thinking that it was Ron Rifkin. My reaction was pretty much the same as the black dude's..."That's him...sort of...or is it?" I wasn't sure until I searched IMDB and found out that it was another guy.

Sorry guys, I'm not reading this thread and haven't contributed to any for a long time. I'm spoilerphobic, and this place is normally okay for stuff, but having had a super fucking huge spoiler for this season of Alias shown to me out of nowhere (not here), I just don't dare anymore. So if I'm repreating anything...meh, soz.

I'm really enjoying this season as a whole. The only real problems I've had is there were too many stand alone episodes. I was quite happy to have them at first, unlike a lot of fans, and I think some were fantastic, but I really thought things were going to get more like they are currently earlier. Certainly I don't see why that episode (nothing major, it's stuff from a few episodes ago anyway ---->)
when Sydney befriends some civilian and is chased by that mini-helicopter thing
is in there, it wasn't even that good and pretty much just slowed things down.

That's pretty much the only negative I can think of. Otherwise I think it's firing on all cylinders. Lots of questions still to answer, multiple plot threads going on at once, little hints at things, deception amongst colleagues...it's what Alias is all about. And they're doing it well. Even what this episode was about, which after the end of last week's episode could have been awful (I was really unsure how they were going to proceed), worked really well. Just a
Sloane imitator
would have been...well, it might have been ok, but someone who actually
believes they're Sloane? And using that to bring Sloane back to Rambaldi without it seeming cheap? Good stuff.

Pity that
black dude who's been working for Arvin Clone is dead. I really liked him, wouldn't have minded him becoming a recurring character.

Now if only I didn't know this fucking spoiler.
