ive watched the first two seasons now by renting the dvds. is the third season really as bad as some suggest?

Such a great cliffhanger... too bad the writers never really figured out what to do with it.

S3 sucked watching the broadcasts... because it would be put off for like 3 weeks between episodes at times.

Watching all the dvds about 2-3 episodes a day, S3 is a LOT better than I remember. It's much better watching them all together.

Yeah, that's one advantage of starting in January -- the episodes will mostly air consecutively, thank God.

I just finished S1 on DVD (yay Netflix!). Is Season 4 the one that's starting in January? And are S2 & 3 both on DVD already? If so... awesome. I'll just have to finish the next two seasons by January!

They release the previous season on dvd in the fall, every year.

Yeah, that's one advantage of starting in January -- the episodes will mostly air consecutively, thank God.

The plan is to have a new episode every week. Odds are it won't be on sundays, because Desperate Housewives (I don't know why) is kicking ass on sundays at 9....hopefully ABC will do what the fans are guessing they'll do----Move it to Wednesdays at 9 after Lost.
