B BuddyC Member Oct 14, 2004 #1 the BIOS detects my new hard drive. i even did an install of windows xp to see if i could boot from it, and sure enough, it works. all i want is to use this hd for backup, and my current install of windows just won't detect it. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
