I used my school email address to register for this account, since of course I couldnt use my gmail. But I only use that email for school stuff, and my gmail for other things. So I was wondering if I am allowed to change my email to a free mail now that I've made it onto the forums?

That's a good question. The email is used as another way to be sure that "real" people are registering. However, the email is largely useless after registration since the email feature is disabled.

I'd have to defer to one of the administrators...any thoughts?

I would also like to know. The email address I registered with no longer exists (I changed ISP's)

It auto-bans you if you change to a free account, if I recall correctly*.



*I believe Konex got himself banned that way

It's perfectly fine to do so. Nothing will happen.
