Am I crazy or does this movie look better on Xbox?

I’ve been impatiently waiting for Avatar 2’s 4K BluRay release and I saw the digital version was on sale for $13.
I couldn’t afford not to, right?
I got on my Xbox of all places, looks damn good but it’s not even Dolby Vision.
I notice that it says it works with Movies Anywhere, i download the native app for my tv, link my accounts, now I don’t need to watch it on my Xbox.
Turns out the Movies Anywhere version is also actually Dolby Vision.
However, I’d argue the Xbox version of the movie is looking slight better than the native Movies Anywhere version?
I think it’s because it’s less compressed streaming or something.
Am I crazy?

What I’m asking is has anyone else got a movie on Xbox and noticed it actually looked better than the Movies Anywhere version.

Maybe you have your TV settings set up better for the Xbox's HDMI than you do for the Native TV App (some TV's require you to copy settings to the Apps too).

I mean, without seeing them side-by-side there's no way we can be expected to have an opinion on this.
Watch this then:

In my Opinion it is definitely better on XBOX. It is the greatest machine ever created and makes movies look better than in the theater.

A couple of times I've watched content, thought wow this looks great, so bright and colorful, this must be HDR, and then I checked and it was SDR

If you don't have an extremely bright screen, some SDR content could well look better than HDR whether Dolby Vision or anything. Vision I think to me is the darkest of any of them.

Not crazy at all.

In my limited times I actually used the edge browser on Xbox to skim some YT videos or porn clips (lol), some looked better on my TV than in my laptop. So much clearer, better colours and smoother.

Than again maybe it’s because my laptop sucks and is 4 years old.
