I was going to say "I don't know how you can stand watching this superhero series shit"

But I watched the trailer and it does look pretty cool :messenger_grinning_sweat:

Yup really good show.

Didn't think it would turn out as good as it did. Can't wait for season 2 and see where they go with it.

I was a little let down by S1, but maybe my deep love for the comics had my expectations too high. Between Doom Patrol, Umbrella Academy, and The Boys, I think The Boys had the weakest Season One, with the exception of the EXCELLENT season finale

The comics are fantastic, really great read if you are in for it

For the record, I liked S1 of The Boys, it is a good show, I just expected perfection. But really, between Doom Patrol, Umbrella Academy, and The Boys you can't go wrong. I still haven't been able to watch Locke and Key yet

Also, im triggered AF right now

I found it to be much better than the comic. The changes made here totally work for the better.

But the comic is so layered, and so dirty. The corruption/debauchery in the comic goes to a new level

In essence its about some normal guys that get sick of Superheroes. They are superheroes but.... well... real douchebags. So its not your normal superhero tv show but its hilarious as fuck. I started watching it, then showed it to my cousin and i had to reset and repeat episode 1-4 so he could watch the rest together with me xD

One of the more modern shows that really made me laugh out loud.

I've not been very fond of amazons exclusive content but the boys was a awesome.

They've also got the rights to the Alex rider series that comes out next month and that looks really good too.

Yep, great show.
S2 is one of the few TV shows I'm hyped about at the moment.

If you liked that you should also check out Umbrella Academy.

Will have to check this out at some point. The trailers looked pretty fun but I remember it getting mixed reactions around here.

It truly is. And the show runners / writers have adapted the comic intelligently.

I'm curious to see if / how they handle...

Homelander is scary. I'm not that far along, but he doesn't seem to have any weaknesses. Imagine coming face to face to that guys like Frenchie waiting in the van. Creepy.

Wrapped up Season 1. Interesting final episode. Looking forward to the next season. Black Noir so far barely gets any screen time. I'm not even sure what his abilities are. Odd fellow.

The comics are excellent fun, definitely check them out.

It's interesting seeing how many of my fave comics have had TV adaptations that just bore me. Locke & Key and Y: The Last Man are another two of my fave comics but the shows just put me sleep. The Boys is the only TV adaptation that's as good as, if not better than the comic. Invincible is a distant 2nd place.

Watched both seasons. Season 2 was not as exciting as 1, but the last few episodes were good. Of course, the patriotic Homelander is made out to be so insanely pathetic. I thought Homelander was the first super, then they introduced Storm Front. With the possibility of so many supers, things could get pretty crazy in any new seasons. The more episodes I watch, the more I like Homelander and enjoy every scene he is in.
