The corpse of American Pie has been resurrected only to be raped again. Also remember in these types of movies when the women were actually hot and not goblins?

Even the male lead is a step down from the last sets of knock off AP movies, them women....well paper bags were made for a reason
 
Each of the movies, and spin offs, had a decent amount of topless female nudity. I wonder if they will continue the trend with this one.
 
I have nothing against these movies getting a new entry. They were always mainly something lighthearted and funny.
What in saw in the trailer wasn't funny though.

They could have at least updated the title to reflect the girl's take on "pie fucking" -

American Banana
American Cucumber
American Hairbrush
American Teddy
American Showerhead

I mean they weren't even trying. This looks so shit.
 
Looks like shit, big surprise for a straight to DVD release. I suppose it's long past due to be wokified, the original set of movies was shockingly non-diverse.

Only the main series of films is worth a shit. American Reunion was even a banger...they were talking about following it up as recently as 2018. Hopefully that's still on the table.
 
I'm surprised this brand has enough cachet to bother resurrecting it. I"m guessing it has absolutely nothing to do with the original series aside from the name.
 
The core concept of these girl sex comedy movies is flawed. Women dont have to go through comedic high jinks to get laid, they just have to turn up. But maybe that's why they cast not so hot women for this.

I know nothing about the movie but that's my take. Besides, the guys in American Pie weren't exactly ideal male specimens so it is on brand for the female version.

Also, cheap drama/comedy movies are all the rage on streaming services. This movie will cost about 5 bucks to make and will, guaranteed, get millions to watch it just on the American Pie name alone.

It's on Netflix. It's disposable content. We don't get a full look at stream numbers but I'm willing to bet that a few million streams isn't even that many. It's certainly more prominent than a bunch of the other random garbage on Netflix so it's reasonable to assume it will stand out, at least among those kinds of shows.
 
Something tells me this was a cheapie script they slapped the American Pie banner onto last second to give it even the slightest marketing bump.

3 out of 4 are hot so that's not terrible. I wouldn't call the big girl ugly necessarily just kinda out of place compared to previous movies in the franchise.

I'm guessing they swapped genders in this one since another American Pie movie with dudes probably wouldn't come off too well in 2020. That's not great but it is what it is.
 
WAMANZ power. Shouldn't you put at least 1 or 2 zingers in your trailer for a comedy?

If the girls all dressed up as guys and did their comedy bits as dudes and still wasn't funny then it would be funny.
 
American Pie with the original cast (1-3 + Reunion) are all great movies in my opinion. I love the awkward chemestry between Jim and his dad as well as the cringey Finch and his obsession with with Stiflers mom and of course the legendary Stifler himself.

All the other spin-off movies are all trying to replicate the iconic cast and they all failed to do so. I think this will be the most tame movie in the series and I'll honestly be suprised if there's any nudity at all.
