I loved Armored Core on the PS1. I bought the launch game (AC2? dont recall) with the Playstation 2 and got really really pissed that I bought the exact same game with prettier graphics.

Actually, the physics of AC2 were substantially different from AC1, and the other PS AC games.

Some ingenious AC nerds chalked it up to "Mars Gravity", but I believe it was just shitty programming on behalf of From Software.

If you hate more of the same, then there's no reason for you to get excited over this one. I'm sure it will be more of the same, as the past ten games have been.

Now that's a game that feels in the moment. Maybe it's just the trailer, but I want a game with the bass booming, gunfire LOUD, just an intense sound system. Very nice.

yeah, but the missions were almost identical... did they ever make use of the dual shock or fix the wacky camera for AC3? As I recall they had you using the same controls from the first game in AC2.
