Sorry if old, did a search and couldn't find anything.

Through to 2008, the analysts predict that the Xbox 360 will shift 19.6 million units whilst the PlayStation 3 will lag behind with 15.5 million units, and Nintendo's Revolution will shift only 5 million units, based on late 2006 releases for both the PS3 and the Revolution.

What kind of money do you think analysts make? I'm starting to think I might already be one.

Drugs is all around you kids. Look at that magic marker cap. What the hell you think that is, some kind of crayon? Take it off and sniff it and get high.

I'm not saying this is or isn't true. Usually I think "BS" when I hear "analyst says" because no one knows for sure what will happen. It's all just a guessing game.

Regardless of that point, die hard Sony fans can't imagine a time or a place in this universe (or even other dimensions like in Star Trek) when Sony will not be on top.

These threads always end the same.

In America perhaps. They have a tough road to travel in both Europe and Japan, and it will take a screwup of pretty large proportions on Sony's part to lose their lead in either territory.

Bullshit. For my stock price, I wish it were true, but it isn't. However, this is a good indicator that Microsoft stands to cut into Sony's dominance this gen. The 360 has a lot more going for it than the Xbox, and if you ask me Microsoft made a major coup in getting Sakaguchi's new company as an exclusive. Being first to market helps too, when the entry price is so high. It's going to be good for MS, certainly better than last gen. Market leader, though? Doubt it. Sony's got all the name franchises. They can coast through next gen on substandard hardware (like N did with the DS and it's handheld market share), but they also happen to have the state-of-the-art machine and next-gen DVDs all coming in one system. It's PS3 all the way.

Last I knew, Sakaguchi's new company was "producing exclusive games" for the X360 but was by no means "developing exclusively for" it.
