I have the 2013 Moto X. It was underpowered when it launched in much the same way, and now, approaching its 2 year mark, it is incredibly sluggish when compared to my friends' Nexus 5's. Also, because I'm on Verizon, I still don't have Lollipop.

I don't even want a 5.5" screen, but I could have lived with it if I was getting a top of the line phone. But it's just too many compromises for me (especially with no finger print reader or wireless charging).

Seems like they didn't announce the price because the phones aren't launching right now they can wait and see what the competition is doing and adjust accordingly. However in terms of his conference its a little weird, instead of saying $200-300 cheaper than others just don't mention the price yet.

It just stutters throughout. Web browsing is the biggest offender as it will often lock up there, but launching apps or trying to do anything when its downloading an update for an app from the Play Store is just futile.

It will also lock up once every few days and have to be hard reset.
