US funnyman Andy Dick was arrested early today over claims of drug use and sexual battery after he allegedly pulled down a teenager's top, police said.
The Associated Press reports the former co-star of the US television sitcom NewsRadio was released from a detention centre after posting $US5000 bail. His reps did not immediately return calls.
TMZ reports: "Around 1.15am (local time) this morning cops tell us they responded to a report of a person peeing in the parking lot outside the wing joint, causing a disturbance. Several witnesses told officers Dick approached two women as he left the restaurant. He allegedly walked up to a 17-year-old girl, grabbed her tank top and bra and pulled them down, exposing her breasts."
Dick, 42, was booked at the Southwest Detention Centre in French Valley on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanour sexual battery and misdemeanour possession of marijuana.
Dick is no stranger to controversy. He has been accused of exposing himself to audiences, urinating in public and groping patrons of a comedy club where he was performing.
In 1999, Dick was arrested for possession of cocaine and marijuana after driving his car into a telephone pole in Hollywood. He pleaded guilty but the charges were dismissed.
