Bolded all exclusive content
It totals about 10 hours of bonus content, (12 hours including the main feature film), which is insane! That doesn’t even count the audio commentary track, and audience reaction track. It should be noted that half of the bonus content has already been posted online in some form like the trailers, web updates, Q&A’s, etc, now all together at home in one package, but it’s still about 5 hours of DVD/Blu-ray exclusives (9 hours of exclusives if you count the bonus audio tracks).

Note: The DVD version is not available yet. We assume most people would want the Blu-ray.

Nostalgia Critic review? Why is Mr. Rolfe throwing a bone to him?
They've done collaborations before. I believe the 1 year anniversary of TGWTG they did some crossover/fight nonsense video.

I never saw the movie. Is it worth checking out? I don't really remember much aside from not being too impressed with their first trailer.

People like the angry video game nerd even though james has constantly failed to make the character succeed outside of its game review format. The skits and non game review stuff has always been horrible.

This is the worst movie I've seen in my life

Halfway through I forced myself to watch it just so I can say that I saw the movie and because I like AVGN...

Is it worse than "Dude Where's My Car?" because that was pretty freakin' bad too.

(I'm actually kinda serious, I haven't seen the AVGN movie.)

I think James' best work is his retrospectives. That and the short horror film he and Mike made with the kids' toy.

That said, I'm happy he got to make his dream flick.

I feel like a jerk for expecting this to be $20 and then seeing its $25.
He's packed it with so much, making it worth it, and still I feel that way.

Still ordered a copy.

I was watching this a few dats ago and I had to turn it off after 15 mins. Tried again shortly after but had to turn it off again. I couldn't stand it. I was even just watching it with one eye while coding, but it didn't work out.

Happy to see everyone feels the same.

This movie was beyond disappointing. It had very little of anything to do with AVGN. He wasn't even in character for most of it.

Don't waste your money.

Saw it in theaters. Bad movie but no regrets as I have been given free entertainment from him for almost 10 years now. No intention to buy the Bluray though.

I think his Super Mario Bros 3 review is still one of his best videos. Honestly if he made a feature length movie where he reviews Ocarina or Super Mario 64, I think it would be A LOT better than this film.

A good bunch of those extras are just James talking to the camera for 20 minutes about how the month has been, not something I would really want to watch a second time on blu-ray, personally.

I'll still like to own it, not actually watched it yet but i'll wait until I can get it for a tenner in the UK.

I feel that his later episodes including ones this year have all been too short and simple, the nerd I enjoyed watching has become more simplfied, his old ways are gone.

I love Pokken!
As much as i love James and AVGN, this movie is a disaster, don't waste your time on it, just skip it to the end of the movie for the E.T. review

Yeah that is pretty stupid they said that the blu-ray is region free and would be available internationally.
Selling it on amazon.com is great but amazon does not ship blu-rays internationally so yeah makes no sense.
Amazon do ship blu-rays internationally. The problem is fulfilled by amazon items appear to be domestic only as far as I know (which is stupid as shipping-wise they are identical to products in the Amazon warehouse).

That begs the question why isn't this "Dispatched from and sold by Amazon."? You might say "it not a good movie" but that parody of it (or at least its premise as it came out a few years earlier) also made a youtube star, Ashens And The Quest For The Gamechild is (that one is entirely available to watch on youtube). The again Amazon US/=/Amazon UK.

I am actually in this movie. It makes me sad to see the negative reactions on here, but it's expected. It's definitely different from what the fans are used to.

It's just most of us expected the AVGN movie to actually have video games or video games in it. I think we all know licensing wouldn't allow that, but this movie really has nothing to do with AVGN at all other than the character, in which he doesn't even play up at all.

It had a poor script, no real direction and the scope of it hurt it more than anything. He should have stuck with something on as much smaller scale.

I think Monster Madness and his movie reviews are better than even the AVGN stuff.

I don't agree with all of your criticisms, but I think they're understandable. The scope is pretty crazy, but he wanted it to be this way - incorporating a bunch of crazy B-movie schticks. It's reasonable to not be a fan of that direction though :)

I agree! I love the Board James series.

.com is not allowed by law to ship software and movies over seas, I asked them this many times and it stated on the website deep in the FAQ.
Its because of international regulations.

now .uk CAN ship to the USA but from the USA to EU is not allowed.
Also:
UPDATE: FOR INTERNATIONAL. At the moment, only the US domestic Amazon has the movie in stock. More stock is being shipped to additional Amazon stores around the world, but is taking longer due to customs. Please stand by. We will let you know when the movie is available in more countries. It is my mission to have it available in as many places as possible. I know I have fans all around the world (especially evident in the beginning of the film itself).

Although I found the movie somewhat of a let down, I had a hard time even finishing it, I'll probably get it to support James and for the behind the scenes stuff. I like watching James just be himself and talk about his interests.

Nice try, but AVGN is probably best suited to short episodes.

new update:
UPDATE: INTERNATIONAL NOW AVAILABLE! Before ordering on the US Amazon page, try searching the movie on your local country’s Amazon site. If it’s not there, then order from the US Amazon link above, and it will ship internationally.

Will try this after work.
so you just should be able to order the blu-ray on amazon.com now :O

This movie was so bad :(. Not in the good way. I can appreciate that it has been a dream project of James to make a movie (though I don't know if the AVGN was something he really wanted to do).

Oh well, it's not like I expected much. Making a legit great movie from a concept like AVGN is not exactly easy.
