So for long time avgn fans I gotta ask, what are some scenes or jokes in episodes that even till this day still make you laugh whenever you rewatch them.

Two off the top of my head are from Transformers famicom the "stage 10? I beat fucking megatron who the hell could be next... of course I should have known its mecha godzilla" the other is in the castlevania retrospective when "what a horrible night to have a curse" interrupts him starting to talk about Castlevania 3.

In the Dracula episode when he eats the pillow and he goes, "I didn't expect that" always gets me.

"If I was god, I'd be pissed" in the Bible Games episode.

There's a ton of them.

"IT'S LIKE HEEEYYYYYY WE GOT THIS HORRIBLE SHITTY GAME BUT THERE'S A GIRL TAKING HER CLOTHES OFF SO YOU GOTTA KEEP PLAYING"

I always wanted to jokingly make a "5 second" review of DoA Xtreme 2 (or 3) where it's just footage & the quote of AVGN saying that

Took me a rewatch to realize there was a fantastic gif moment in the Berenstain Bears video. I hope you guys make good use of it.

I think I have a few off the top of my head..

1) At the very end of the NES World Championship carts episode, after James destroys the cartridges, there is a brief pause and then Pat goes for James's neck. - https://youtu.be/fs2wczJXETM?t=15m55s

2) The Atari 5200 episode when James is setting it up. https://youtu.be/AknyR-kRvLc?t=4m23s

3) The IntelliVoice Synthesis Module saying B17 Bomber. - https://youtu.be/eOgNzCSPpi8?t=15s

Not really "specific", but I always liked the moments when James rants about the giant-ass "brick" plugs like in Doublevision Part 2 & Dracula when he's trying out the 2nd version of the Intellivison because it's something I can relate to growing up. Hell, can still apply today.

That trailer is awful. It didnt feel like a Mummy movie at all (especially at the beginning), and showed way, way too much (probably the whole story). All you needed was a "few" brief flashes, and the ending line, not that massive scene with the plane crash. I felt like I was watching the actual movie, WTF?

When he lands the plane in top gun during the powerglove video. His silence and facial expression kill me every time.

Does anyone remember which episode he throws a CD (or similar item) at/past the camera, and all you hear is a *smash* and James says something like, "Oh shit!", and then goes off to inspect?

It's very similar to this bit from the Batman video from what I can remember.

PS4 vs PS4 Pro: Can you spot the difference?

https://youtu.be/n33tsoDZZU0

I knew how this video was going to go the moment I saw that title.
This wasn't the best comparison, there are too many factors into this and they should had tried more games. Also, love how they talk only about 4k(which hardly any games run at as it's mostly checkerboard rendering) and not about the performance enhancements where games can run at a higher framerate.

Same, their crusade against PS4 Pro is something..
And when interviewing the person if they would update to Pro even if they had PS4 when he says he would as he likes to have the newest, you can hear "Noo, you wouldn't", like yikes, your bias is showing.
I'll stick with DigitalFoundry for these comparisons.

After they showed their utter incompetence in the Godzilla PS4 video, I dont even bother watching their video about a Post 2000-released Videogame console.

Exactly my reaction when they try to talk about modern consoles, as well as compare every game to a Link to the Past. Let's not kid ourselves, even Mike admits he overdoes it.

Star Wars - Are the prequels bad?

IMO, it's Episode 3>Episode 1>Episode 2.

Yeah, same here. I have never seen the prequels are being bad, even Phantom Menace. The pod race scene is incredible, and for me, one of the best parts from the prequels. I don't remember Episode II that well, besides Obi-Wan vs Jango Fett at the clone factory. That scene was pretty entertaining to watch because of the added rain element.

I am surprised James did like Episode III, as I was thinking he was going to blow all 3 off. But, he's not wrong either, Episode III is very good.

I'm not surprised as Episode 3 is by far the best of the prequel trilogy.

I don't agree with him saying Episode 2 is average as that movie is worse than Episode 1 to me. It's boring filled with problems and has it's moments here and there plus it's finale.

3 > good parts of 2 > 1 > bad parts of 2

Those romance scenes with Anakin and Padme are the worst things in a movie I watch yearly. Episode 1 I can turn my brain off and enjoy the video game action scenes every 15 minutes or so.
