New seasons of The Simpsons, Family Guy and American Dad tonight.

The Simpsons - Bonfire of the Manatees
When Homer lets Fat Tony make a porno film in the house, Marge doesn't get mad, she gets out... and meets up with a marine biologist (Alec Baldwin).

Family Guy - Peter's Got Woods
Peter and Brian’s friendship becomes strained after Brian begins dating Meg’s high school teacher, so Peter befriends James Woods who is visiting Quahog.

American Dad - Bullocks to Stan
When Stan is up for a promotion, he asks his family to be on their best behavior at the CIA picnic to impress Stan's boss, Bullock (Patrick Stewart).

The new season of King of the Hill starts next week - their 10th season, can you believe it?
Also there's some other new show premiering whose name I don't remember.

Isn't September early for Simpsons season premier? I could have sworn it premiered in November last year. Not that I'm complaining :)

Simpsons usually premieres with a Halloween episode yes.

"When Homer lets Fat Tony make a porno film in the house, Marge doesn't get mad, she gets out... and meets up with a marine biologist (Alec Baldwin)."

Sounds awful.

Nobody ever talk about that show but it's been going on forever
Yeah, seriously - it doesn't have the active following of the Simpsons or Family Guy, but it's gotta have some kind of fanbase... this'll be its TENTH year - most non-animated sitcoms wished they could hit the decade mark.

Guess what I'm not watching!

from the promos, War at Home looks exactly like that one other sitcom Fox used to show, the one with the fat irish dude that used to play the crazy cab driver on MTV.

1. Why the hell would the Simpsons air an intro with airline security on 9/11? Jesus. :lol
2. The ending made no sense, but it didn't offend me.

Now the waiting game begins.

Huh? This one sounds AWFULLY familiar.

This show has the worst laugh track ever. It'll go to roaring laughter over the smallest jokes, and then just stop so unnaturally.

I like this show... call me crazy, but I think it has some funny spots...

Not saying its the new Arrested Development or Scrubs, but it has a little Married with Children in it....

The War at Home wasnt that bad. They had a couple of pretty funny jokes. Michael Rapaport is awesome :D

Good Family Guy episode too

Ah Shouldland....where the overly optimistic footbal team gets their ass kicked by Reality Check Tech!

o_O at the TWIST! :lol

Did hell just freeze over? American Dad was great!

That said, it was kinda lame that the Roger/son subplot had no payoff.

Yeah.

"Hello, Argentina? Is your refrigerator running? Then maybe you shouldn't have privatized your water and power department!" :lol :lol

Man, did The Simpsons suck or what?

I'll be sure to save that and copy and paste it in often. There just doesn't seem to be any sort of effort. Julie Kavner's Marge is just painful to listen to, Homer is as one-dimensional as ever before, and even attempts at relavant humour are failing since it just doesn't work anymore.

I might watch American Dad, though, since apparently it was indeed quite good.

I can actually say American Dad was just as good as Family Guy tonight. I still don't like the characters nearly as much (I think they're terrible), but some of the jokes were so good. All those booths at the CIA festival. Defibulate Cheney! :lol

I've missed most of the new season so far, but caught the Family Guy/American Dad block today. American Dad was the highlight, surprisingly. Crazy (and great) stuff this episode.

As one of the few Simpsons defenders left, I will go on record and say that was the Simpsons tonight was one of the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.

Its so easy to forget that The Simpsons used to be funny. They ran the show straight into the ground about 5 years ago and yet its still on the air. How they still get decent ratings while quality shows like Arrested Development are on the brink of being canceled, it boggles the mind.

Jesus I forgot there was even a new Simpsons eppisode on tonight, sounds like I didnt miss much of the continual shit fest that has come to be knows as The Simpsons. Cought the end of Rappaports show, I like him, but god the 5 minutes I cought of it was blah, and god whoever said the Pits, you basterd!! I had forgotten about that show untill that :(

Famly Guy was ace though, I liked that they actualy HAD Patric Steward and Jonithan Frakes do there voices, the joke could have been better, but that was the first time I saw any animated show do a next Gen joke and not one based on the origonal series. When Perter said Star trek and the cust started I was blown away seeing the Enterprise D, which looked great.

American Dad, meh, I still hate the cherecters, but some parts were pretty good, but I am sorry, I hated that commentary part, it's probably due to the fact that of all the cherecters on the show I hate that fucking fish the most I think.

And for the record, I was to state, I HATE King of the Hill and 10 years??? Jesus, I seriously dont know ANYONE who actualy likes that show, yet a 10th season now? My god.

Oh man that episode of American Dad was awesome.

Was that still Patrick Stewart as Bullock? (if so the show was 10x funnier) didnt sound the same as last season.
