I just saw this incredible looking set of the movie, French R2 DVD, and was wondering what are peoples thoughts on it? Even one positive thought may clinch the deal for me.

Its a great Sci-fi series. The character Development is great.

I enjoyed the first part a lot, the end / second half was kind of weak sauce though. Above average overall, I'd say

starts off great, but then by the end its bogged down by environmental mumbo jumbo.

I didn't much like it, I think I stopped watching about halfway through.

The giant vagina mouthed aliens got to me, I think.

The show is great, in that 'Aliens' sort of way. Just don't mind all of the bodybags at the end of each episode. Blue Gender kills characters more often than most people drink coffee.

If that set is legit, it looks pretty cool. The R1 set is no slouch either in looks.

Overall solid, though I agree with the people who say that the first half was better than the second.

Edit: Not a horrible second half by any means, as it avoids the crazy nonsensical endings that some animes have.

I think ill buy it. Consistent impressions + godly looking set.

It was alright. Good characters, good action, random tit feeling, etc.

Kind of a weak matrix-type ending. 6.9/10

It's a mediocre show at best. It's not "bad" or anything, but it's not very "good" either.
