I grew up near a (at the time ) big film area. Wilmington NC. Just building a studio doesn’t mean companies will make movies there when it’s much cheaper to make films in Canada now.

Georgia had some interesting politics and policies over the past few years. As he's MCU, the new Cap, and well regarded in the Disney family, N'Aleans may become a welcomed alternative filming location.

New Orleans has been a site for films for some time. Plenty of films randomly set in NO these days, they gotta be handing out those tax credits left and right.
