Any EB/Gamestop employees played RE4 yet?

I've heard that a lot of the stores have it already, and I know this is at least somewhat true because my EB store has it. So I was wondering if any of you have gotten to play the final version of the game? If so, how is it?
 
If anyone does have it and completed the game, confirm whether the ending is true in that other thread :P
 
Why would people want to know the ending before the game is out? Wont you buy it if it's bad? Did the ending in halo2 stop people from buying the game? no.

1. Never cared about RE's story but boy this ending is...haha

2. I'm renting it

3. Didn't care about Halo 2's story either and didn't stop me from buying the game. Online gaming is not a fad!
 
online gaming is definitley not a fad, that I agree with :P

I think this board shouldN'T talk about the ending before the game is out. Especially not in every damn thread. Bad or not, I don't want to be spoiled...

two different animals. Halo2 had a clifhanger ending that pissed some off.

RE4 however, has something completely ridiculous happening.

that is not confirmed. Someguy on this board called Lakitu claimed it was false. I reserve my judgement until I have completed it myself.

i should have said, being silent on this issue. Because they are still posting elsewhere.
 
Leon doesn't aware that he has been subject to a VR mission all along and Umberlla is behind this crazy plot afterall. The game also hints that Patriots has a hand in this. The game ended with a splash screen with the text "To be continue" and a shadowy figure that looks like Raiden in the background.
 
Somebody post what they are hearing about the ending in spoiler tags and I'll tell you if it's bullshit, which I'm guessing it is.
