Does anyone else like this? I never even cared about this stuff til I heard an advertisement on the radio for a concert they're having near me. I figured a concert with them, basically a drunken bunch of irish sods, would be rather fun, so I looked into the music, and I actually think this is some of the best drinking music I've ever heard. I just bought Drunken Lullabies, and I can't get enough of some of these songs.

Wipe the golden tear/
from your mother dear/
and raise what's left of the flag for me/
then the rosarie beads/
count to 1-2-3/
fall apart as they hit the floor/
and the *somethin* black/
we must pay respect/
to the color we're born to mourn

anyone else agree, or am I in the minority here?

I went to a warped tour a few years back and they happened to be on the card and i can safely say they are the worst band i have ever heard.

My brother saw them at Hultsfred this year, they were fantastic.

I liked them from the little I've heard of them, for some stupid reason I had them confused with Dropkick Murphy's for my earlier comment. Blah, long day at work.

I like 'em. I've liked them for a while, but I think Within A Mile of Home might be my favorite of their albums, though I know a few people that are bigger fans than I am that disagree. Seven Deadly Sins, Tomorrow Comes a Day Too Soon, Light of a Fading Star, Within A Mile of Home - all great, fun tunes. Just a fun band and I bet they kick ass live.

They are pretty good, but I prefer DKM.

I've seen them live three times and it's always great, the crowd goes totally wild! I don't really like listening to them at home, but you can wake me up in the middle of the night to go to their live show!
