Any freeware .gif makers? I have one but turns out you need to register it otherwise it puts a banner on the .gif you make.

You can use Jasc Software's Animation Shop 3.

It's only a trial but you can open up movie files and create .gifs easily.

i'm not sure if it has what you're looking for... but GIMP is free.

i just downloaded it for my work computer, gonna explore it now
