Any other "Reason" users/musicians on GAF?

I've finally got around to shelling out the cash for Propellerheads Reason 2.5. (I've been using verson 1 for faaaaar too long).

I was wondering if any other regulars / music type here create stuff with Reason, and if so whether you'd be up for a forum collaboration on a track, the way it could work is:

I upload a "seed" of a track to get us started, a simple placeholder beat, pad and arpeggio, Collaborators then work on fleshing out the seed into a track/tracks and upload their works-in-progress for others to build on / learn from etc. - should varying styles emerge then collaborators could then "fork off" development of the track so that we end up with multiple tracks all coming from one seed.

Anyone interested?

is beloved, despite what anyone might say
I've tried using the demo of Buzz/Reason once before and got waaaaay too confused before I was able to put out anything :p I know James Holden (big prog artist) does all his works in Reason, and I would really like to learn how to use it one day.

Perhaps Tre does, I think he dowes most of his music with keyboards and synths.
It's certainly geared more towards hiw current music goals than mine atm if I recall correctly.

I use Acid Pro 4, but it's an entirely different beast altogether, I'd probably use more midi software if I had more free time. Right now I'm so busy with everything else in life, I hardly get to post on the forum often, and my time for remixing is extremely limited :(

I've used Reason 1...started a collaboration track it went back and forth, but I couldn't keep up because I didn't know how to use the damn thing. Since then the guy I collaborated with had one of his songs featured on a CD "Hardcore Heaven". :) Mebbe I shouldav learned Reason :p

I don't know about another compo, there was little response to the last one, maybe because we have to make the compo a tad more simpler? I don't know. But I think something videogame related would be best and pretty cool.

I'd love to, but I'll be moving soon, so most of my music equipment is packed up right now.

However, if you guys need some help with figuring out how to get things done with the program, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
