Any predictions for the Xbox showcase?

A little over a month out... any guesses on what we'll see? Some of mine:
Fable
Gears E-Day
Perfect Dark
Starfield Starborn Edition (with DLC, for PS5 as well)
Double Fine game reveal
Clockwork Revolution
SOT/F76/WOW/Diablo usual updates
Rumored Halo remake for all platforms
Ninja Gaiden 4
COD
Contraband
Something from Rare not SOT
Persona 4 remake
Crazy guess: Dragon Quest XII trailer

Would love to see more from InExiles Clockwork Revolution. A big budget game from them sounds interesting, big fan of their catalogue. Let's hope they make more of that MS cash then what Oblivion has done so far. 🤞

I want a new Guitar Hero

Spencer brought it up a half dozen times during the acquisition, so he should make it happen

Gears EDay for sure

I'm also guessing the Halo CE remake and possibly halo MCC coming to ps5/ns2 (though the latter may be more of a nintendo direct move)

Didn't know there's going to be one of those soon.

Hope they show Gears E-Day, hyped for that one. Also would like to see more of Perfect Dark, specially if it doesn't suck.

The problem is that while the last one actually changed some gameplay elements up and added new life to the gameplay, they monetized it. If we're talking the first three games, and Metallica, the Beatles, etc., sure, I'm interested. But if they're going to paywall it, then please leave the franchise and even genre dead as it is.

The new guitar was novel but ultimately not compelling enough to carry the game. The song list also left a lot to be desired since a lot of the main campaign was filled with rehashes from older guitar heroes. Plus some really odd choices for a "guitar" game like Skrillex and Rihanna.

The old GH/RB approach was better. Sell a full price game with 60ish songs, then sell additional songs a la carte for a small fee ($2 or $3 each, discounts for packs). With Game Pass in the mix you have a subset of players who only need to buy the guitar and then it's essentially "free to play".

I'd love if they re-added vocals and drums too but that might be asking a lot with how dead the genre is. And maybe they're looking at those Fortnite Festival numbers and realizing that maybe it's not the best idea. I'd be there day 1 regardless, as long as it's not some mobile thing

Yeah don't get me wrong; weekly DLC type stuff is fine. I racked up a decent sized collection of songs in RB. But the last GH had nonsense like paying to practice songs. I am not down with that type of monetization.

If we get a release date for State of Decay and Perfect Dark I'll be happy.

But I think the bar was set too high by last year's showcase and it might be unbeatable.
