Also, are there any Mac programs that convert said files to mp3 format?

I'm still getting used to a Mac. Normally I'd use my laptop for this kind of stuff, but FedEx lost my laptop after HP repaired its keyboard. =(

Thanks.

OK, I feel extremely stupid.

What about the converter? :D

Last time I checked only Windows Media Player was available, not Windows Media Encoder.

But you can use other programs, like Cleaner I think.

You can get a plug-in for quicktime from versiontracker.com. WMP for mac is a piece of trash, not unlike QT for Windows :p

Yeah, fucking sucks that WMP seems to be the only means of playing MS's "free" file format on OSX. WTF?

Come on someone, make with the codecs sans the shit MS software. In the meantime, I'll continue to do without. >:|

It's payback for the garbage version of Quicktime that Apple has saddled Windows users with. That thing is pure shit.

I might have to take your word for that, but it seems odd since the last version of QT I used when I ran Windows was quite functional.

Don't tell me Apple tried adding some bullshit Star Trek interface to it, like WMP. :p

The entire render core is just busted. It can't run movies in fullscreen without tearing, no matter the processor.

There is a converter to convert WMA to mp3 or wav. It's called EasyWMA and you can find it at versiontracker.com. However, to my knowledge, there isn't a converter for WMP movie files.
