Any word on a new NHL Hitz?

Best hockey game this gen IMO. I've given up on EA. Things have not improved much since NHL 2000. Hitz Pro series is the new king in my circle although it does need some tweaking:
- Goalies on max
- No catchup logic (although the CPU always seems to catchup. I'd hate to see how it'd be like on full meter)
- Fighting/Penalties on or off, doesn't matter. I prefer off since it gets rid of that 'on fire' mode.

Now if they would only tighten up the goalies and AI in general it would make for an awesome half arcade, half sim game with the ability to take it to either extreme. No more pucks changing direction in mid-air when about to pass the goal line, no more wide open shots going straight into the goalie's glove, no more cheap CPU wrap arounds and less flopping and acrobatics from the goalie please. An option for 5-on-5 or 3-on-3 would also be nice.

All in all, there really isn't much more to improve upon from the last Hitz game but a bit more polish, improved graphics and an updated roster would have me sold. MAKE THE GAME!

Hitz Pro sucked a fat one. Hitz 20-03 all the way baby! That is arcade hockey done right!

But didnt I read somewhere that Blackbox, the developers of HITZ, get bought up by EA? If that is true then maybe they will make NHL street, which I might play then. Of course it will have EA Trax and Lil Tigger as the announcer. To me half the fun of Hitz was the announcer. I know most people hate the midway announcer, but I always found him part of the charm. That and an all animal head team taking on a real NHL team and punching them through the glass.
