I don't have all the parts yet, but looking at this, do I need a coupler (like this) before I can hook it up to an adapter that connects to the flex connector?

if I don't post in the next few days I think we all know what happened, bless you all

I say this as an electrician, please don't fuck around with gas. Not sure where you are located and what laws you have but if that goes wrong then kiss goodbye to half of your street.

Just get a qualified dude in it will probably take him 2 minutes and cost peanuts and then won't invalidate your insurance should your house go 💥

make sure u got a gas alarm installed and use a detector to make sure theres no leaks... on top of proper handling of the key valves. Last thing you need is a faulty valve that leaks indefinitely

If you were dealing with installing a water faucet or similar, at worst it could be messy, but not dangerous.
But gas is very dangerous. So do yourself a favour and get a certified technician.

Get someone that is certified. Could be an issue as well if something does happen and you installed it and insurance might not cover it or right like hell not to.
My father knew how to do it when we converted to gas decades ago but we had it installed sure to issue I mentioned above

I paid a professional about $800 to run a line to my kitchen because there’s no way I’d DIY something like that when I don’t know shit about shit.

Love the gas stove though!

Wait- OP already has the line run? If that’s the case just hook that shit up, you’ll smell a leak.
