Anybody know anything about the different Roomba models?

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
Amazon.com has the Roomba Red for $125, however Ecost has a Roomba for $98. Which is the better of the two? The Roomba Red is more but if you go to Irobot.com's site it looks like the Red is lower on the totem pole than the regular Roomba.

No way that thing works as well as advertised... The commercial seems too good to be true.

Way too many obstacles at my spot. It would need a 'jump' feature.

It's gotten alot of good feedback at the fatwallet forum and a few other forums I've checked... I'm pretty much just trying to decide which model I'm going to pick up for the missus... I've already picked up everything else for her including the highlight of her christmas presents... a Creative Labs Zen Portable Media Center.

Plus it looks so tiny in the ads you must have to empty it every 10 feet.

Edit: I looked at both links and noticed the one thats $98 is Refurbished that could be why its so much cheaper.

that company makes military robots. .and i think it goes around the objects on the floor.

I was thinking about getting a roomba for someone last year. Maybe I should look into it again. Sounds like they're cheaper.

There are these things called houses... Some have more that one floor (shock!).

What does the Roomba do when it comes to the top of the stair case?

Also, how do you let the thing know when it 'missed a spot'?
