Anybody tried split keyboard?

I have bit of wrist pain so i thought if split keyboard would help. Any experiences and places to order in europe. Low profile with functions keys and angled stand would be nice i think.

I use either index on the B key depending on what makes the most sense in the moment. You can't be putting a key in the exact middle and then split the keyboard and just give it to one side. What kind of shit is that I'm not playing your B key on whatever fucking hand you think should be B key game homie!

Besides a regular keyboard with a nice wrist rest and I'm fine. I keep my wrists pretty straight which maybe doesn't put me in the best pure speed typing position but you know what? It's fine. Little to no strain. And when I am doing some good ol' fashioned FPS I angle the keyboard a good amount so I'm WASDing straight on.

I think I had an 'ergonomic' keyboard from Microsoft 20+ years ago and I hated it. I see on Amazon that there are keyboards nowadays that are split but you can basically connect them into a normal keyboard. That's the kind of anti-split keyboard hedging that I would go with were I to try the concept again.

I absolutely LOVE the Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000. I've got one at work and one at home. Unfortunately this model has been superseded by an "improved" version that's worse in many way: ESC key and function keys aren't separated from the other keys, MS added useless office key and put it where the MS Start Menu key used to be, there's another useless emoji key, F6 key is now on the left part of they keyboard so whenever I want to press F5 I accidentally hit F6 because that's where my muscle memory steers my finger, etc

All these changes made it really tough to get used to the new MS Ergonomic Keyboard. So I've now bought two additional second hand Ergonomic Keyboard 4000s so when my 15+ year old keyboard finally dies I can safely switch to another one.

and I liked it a lot but I can touch type which a lot of people apparently can't do. (Including tons of software developers.) Admittedly these days I prefer a keyboard with micro switches so I have a Logitech g613. (Which for some reasons has an issue where extra spaces show up when I type. Maybe I should try it in bluetooth mode. It's currently using the light speed connection.)

I like an ergonomic keyboard. Mine broke so I've been using a regular run of the mill Logitech wireless keyboard I grabbed at Staples for $16 in a pinch, but I really need to replace the ergonomic one. It's just more comfortable for me when I'm working.

My GF uses this and swears by it. There's even a (physically) split version of this too.
I tried to use, but it's got some learning curve, and I couldn't type too well with this at all. Also not sure if you game, how well this will work - that I don't know either.
