Anyone else think a Kanye/Jay Z beef is on it's way?

So I was listening to the new Kanye/T-Pain joint when I noticed these lyrics:

I go the hardest
Flow so retard
I'm digusted with myself
I mean ugh, where do I start?
First I spin around and vomit
Then I shit upon it
Fuck the beat up so bad
Wont nobody get up on it

Which made me think hmmmmm cos Hov has been jumping on a lot of Kanye features recently (Put On for example). Which ain't too different to what he did to Jadakiss back in the days with the Best Of Me Remix and Fiesta.

A few minutes ago I just heard Swagger Like Us featuring Kanye, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne and TI and I dare thee to say this isn't aimed at the camel:

Why he's so mad for, why he gotta habit
cuz I slaved my whole life, now I'm the master

Na-Na-Na, How it feel to wake up and be the shit and the urine Na-Na-Na-Na-Na
Trying to get that Kobe number, one over Jordan

Jay-Z fans get the reference, or am I reaching like Dhalsim? Personally I think a Hov/Yeezy beef is well overdue given their history plus it would be very interesting to see how it plays out...

Yeah, if they both worked on making it delicious, then I would enjoy eating it. Don't know how they'll pull it off though

:/

I mean they don't exactly, look like chefs...

I would love to see a beef between the two - mainly because it'd push them both to write songs that are even more incredible than their latest stuff.

yea I toyed with the idea earlier.... kobe jordan reference and how hovs been hopping on ye guest spots and I can see ye getting salty over jay callin wayne his hier..

Didnt Kanye already have some Jay-Z whine song on Graduation?
The fruitiest love song ever, it was.

They recently appeared together on stage, doing a new Jay-Z tune. Kanye will do production on the blueprint 3. So no, don't think so.

Jay-Z couldn't toast with champagne in a battle anymore. Besides, if it came down to it, Kanye could hold his own.

I don't see this happening anytime soon. That is unless Kanye drops an album close to Blueprint and they both are looking for sales.

hova would obliterate kanye on flow alone in '08 if he wanted, let alone lyrical ability.

There is something to that, battle records are what fueled early rap.

About Kanye/Jay, Kanye always makes lil comments that could be seen as beef if taken out of context. He is just insane like that. I think he is like the lil brother that every now and then mouths off just to let people know he is not a puppet for his big brother. There is no beef, I am sure about that.

For a second I thought you were talking about actual beef that you'd buy in a store. Rap stars have produced things like wines and headphones, so I figured that this would be some super expensive Kobe-quality beef or something.

Doubtful. Jay initially wanted Timbaland to do the majority of production on BP3 until Kanye started crying; now Kanye has most of the beats, and from what we've heard so far the quality is laughable (Jockin Jay-Z...wow). I wish Jay would stop cuddling this fucking child

Not to mention that Big Brother song on Kanye's last album was practically a love song to Jay Z
This is the best description of the song

The Jay-Z song is always a highlight of Kanye West’s albums but in place of a Jay-Z song on West’s new album Graduation comes “Big Brother”, a song about Jay-Z that’s a strange, singular combination of heartfelt lament, personal history, weirdly ambiguous diss track and sad meditation on the intertwined nature of friendship, competition and business.

Weirdly ambiguous dis track is what I call that song.

nothing more embarassing than 30/40 year old black men taking pot shots at it each other.

Listen to Jeezy yall!

It used to be, when street cred still mattered. Mainstream rap is so commercialized now that it doesn't matter what a couple of neighborhoods think of you, your album will still sell and there will still be people at your concerts.

beef is overrated.. collaborations > beef

imagine real biggie and pac tracks we could have gotten.. or more Jay and Nas tracks back in their prime. I would take those over any Ether any day.

Isn't Hov too old for this little boy shit? It's more respectable to be above that and let the kids beef over this and that fake shit. Hov should be uplifting brothers and making grown up moves.

WTF is beef anyway, when I grew up you either got your ass kicked, jumped or shot dead. Beef is fake.

take this shit to "the reason".....oh, wait.

anyway, nah i don't see this happening ever. besides the fact that he basically appointed Kayne to produce BP3 they were just smiling together and shit performing "Jockin' Jay-Z".

you do realize that that shit still happens right? like....way more too. what we're talking about is rap beef. rap beef is always fake and is totally unrelated to street beef. cat just got shot up in the front yard a few houses down from my house so street shit bullshit is still alive and kicking, unfortunately.
