Just wondering if they are a trustworthy site for imports, and game music CDs?

Most of their music is about 1/2 off of other sites like gamemusic.com

Or is their better sites to buy from?

I don't know about ordering music from them, but ordering games from them has been great. Nothing "over-the-top spectacular!" but they didn't disappoint.

I have placed several orders with them, and have been given terrific service every time. That said, it has been over a year since I ordered anything from them.

I used to order from them and never had a problem. Pretty much stopped ordering about a year or so ago, when they started to get all their games later than other importers for whatever reason.

They're great, I've ordered from them plenty of times. The only drawback is that they give you a hard time if you want to ship to a different address from your credit card's billing address... You have to call them, arrange for them to call your bank, call them back to make sure it's OK, etc.

They are.

Point 1:

VGD is a good video game dealer.

Point 2:

Cart Mart bought all of VGD's inventory and took their name a few years ago. So current VGD == old cart-mart w/more stuff.

Point 3:

VGD is not a good CD dealer. That being said, I remember that their Japanese CDs are labeled as such. ($25+ are generally legit) Most of their CDs are bootlegs.

And GMO used to be 99% bootlegs too, but now have more legitimate CDs than boots.

I recommend amazon.co.jp as well. Even though most of the page is in Japanese, there are English options to provide assistance.

CDJapan is fine too I think. Just tends to be a bit more expensive.

I got FireProD many moons ago from VGD, no problems at all; I also got the Rez Soundtrack from www.gamemusic.com no problem.
