Anyone ever had Dooki?

Days like these...

Have a Blessed Day
Its an international Korean tteokbooki buffet chain and it just opened it's first location in America in my city. I want to try it but I wouldn't know where to start. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just go try it. If you like spicy, you’ll probably enjoy it. Tteokbokki leans heavily on gochujang which is a fermented paste made with both Korean hot chili peppers and soy beans. The flavor profile is very unique and can’t be duplicated by just throwing in chili powder in a sauce.

The only caveat is the fish cakes included in the dish, which is hit/miss for folks. They have that “ocean flavor” that can be a turnoff. But you can just avoid those if they aren’t your thing.
