I have a 2004 Mercedes that has a DVD for the GPS module but it’s scratched to shit and I get an error every time it tries to read it.

Anyone know a good product that is likely to make this disc readable again

That looks pretty severe. You could get one of those disc doctors that scrapes a layer off the disc but it leaves it very susceptible to further scratching.

Burn a new disc. That one is toast.

Toothpaste. Seriously. Cover it in the stuff. Let it dry then wash it off. I’ve done it a bunch of times on old cds

I used to have some sort of liquid that I rubbed in and it worked pretty well. But I think your disc is a goner.

2004 lol. It’s an 04 ML500. It’s a navigation DVD for the GPS system. Can’t use it without it. It also has a 6 CD changer in the trunk. Which I still use all the time.
