Did a google search and found out that the left hand is supposed to represent personal stuff in your life, while the right hand is public stuff...anyways...what do the lines actually mean?

I remember back from like 2nd grade hearing that one line represents love and another one represents life(think that was the big one around the thumb) and another has something to deal with work, I think.

Anyone know anything about this stuff?
