Me, my older sister and little brother sort of make it a yearly thing to go the drivein at least once.

The Ford-Wyoming is the only in town. I hope it doesn't get closed anytime soon.

We saw Four Brothers and Hustle & Flow. Both better than I thought they'd be.

And any movie that shows my highschool gets a little love(even though that footage must at least be three years old).

There's a drive-in out in Innis,TX that's pretty popular around here. People drive pretty far to goto it. I like going the local movie "taverns" that serve alcohol. It's nice because you can get away from the teenie bopper crowd that tends to overrun theaters.

The Valley 6 Drive In located in Auburn, WA (town I grew up in, just south of Seattle) is the largest drive-in theater in the state still running, although it sounds like 2006 may be it's last year. I used to go there all the time as a kid in the summers, and I now make it a point to go at least once a summer. Seeing how I'm a total movie snob, and they only show mainstream films, it's tough picking something to see at times, but it is still a lot of fun. You can't beat a double feature for $6 (plus they show the first movie again after the second one).

Some of you may recognize the Valley 6, as Green Day played a show there that was aired on MTV in 2000. Last year, as part of the Seattle International Film Festival, they showed a bunch of Italian zombie movies over Memoral Day Weekend.

For the most part it's cool. Sound comes through your radio and you can see the screen alright. Really the only bad thing is the bathroom/concession area looks shady as hell.

Closest one's about 90 minutes away. But they're a lot of fun, especially if you go with a group of people in multiple cars. It'd be nice to see a resurgence, but they need a lot of land because the only way they can compete with multiplexes is to have a bunch of screens themselves.

There used to be a drive-in near Bel Air, MD. It's definitely good times...

Am I the only one that worries about the battery in the car dying from having it on for hours? :lol
