If so could you give me an update of what's going on. I stopped watching when Kevin P and Chi Lun (sp?) took over.

Now as I channel surf by G4 today, it seems that Kevin P and Sarah are the hosts. Which would at least make for a midly better show. Is that the case. Are they still phasing out Kevin Rose and Sarah?

From what I've seen, they tend to rotate around during the course of an episode. Sometimes it'll be the two Kevins, sometimes Kevin P and Sarah.

Oddly enough, you never see Kevin R and Sarah doing the hosting at the same time.

I still watch it, I like having G4 on in the background just in case they talk about something half-interesting. TSS still has a few good segments here and there, if they would get rid of Kevin P. and those awful tv and movie segments this show would be so much more watchable.

I don't mind kevin p. He's good at ripping on himself, and seems to know what he's talking about, but sometimes he gets a little too cynical about games. It looked like he was trying to impress someone when he smack talked the zelda trailer

That's exactly why I can't stand him sometimes, but yeah, he can be cool at times. I just like the episodes where he's gone and it's only Kevin R. and Sarah much better.

I don't think Kevin R. is getting pushed back. I read in his blog, he's the producer or something like that and when they first merged the shows they gave him the choice of being upfront or working mainly behind the scenes.

Yep. He says some stuff I can definitely see my self saying, but he's alos saying or doing something I'd like to punch him in the neck for, way too much.

The only one who annoys me is Brendan, a dude who just can't keep up with the speed of the other hosts. Kevin Pereira's moving a mile a minute while he struggles like George dubya does on a speech just to talk in complete sentences. Kevin R is good for the role he's in. IMO, Kevin P and Sarah are a great pair to host the show. Kevin's obviously a smart dude, and Sarah makes up for what she lacks in on the spot wit and bad humour with her perkiness. One of the few decent shows on G4.

I'm not sure what people have against Kevin P. I can understand the initial rejection, but the guy's good at generating humor on the spot and he comes off as actually knowing what he talks about. In all honesty, he makes a better host than Kevin Rose who, while funny, just seems mildly stoned half the time. Sarah has a ton of energy and an absolutely infectious smile - great for a segment host, but I agree with the decision to phase her out as main host. The two Kevins works out pretty well. It's no Leo and Pat, but nothing ever will be.

Yeah, I gotta say that while the general content still isn't up to par with the TSS of old, Kevin P isn't all that bad. If nothing else, he's worlds better than that other guy they had on there for a while (Alex? The really irritating guy who's now doing Dell commercials..).

Oh god no, Chi Lan would make a horrible host. Even in the few segments they give her she's not exactly great. Have you seen the time she tried to answer a call-in question? Yikes.

Yeah, it's so absurdly out of place. This isn't SNL, it's a damn tech show.

i find it hard to even listen to what he's saying because his tone is all weird and it's like he emphasizes the wrong words. and he's not funny. and he's stupid. and he has the shittiest segments: "what will the valet steal next?" which is just pretty much an on air commercial for a bunch of crap products.

Hah, yeah, what the hell are they thinking with that segment. That and the 'LAN party' things are becoming increasingly worthless. Do I honestly give a damn what some random ex-Playboy bunny scores in a Far Cry deathmatch? Stick to the damn tech news/Internet stories and stop trying to branch out...

I used to love TSS when they actually used to help people, and it was Leo and the heavyset balding dude, Sorry forgot his name. But G4 is like taking all the really good TTV shows and just injecting them with the G4 disease which in turn makes them shit ass shows. I mean hell they canceled Unscrewed with Martin Sargent, and I liked that show alot.

Yep. I suppose it's appropriate that the new name basically mimics one of the most disappointing movies of all time. Teh irony!
