Anyone suffer from dizziness/lightheadedness?

Been a long time sufferer of vertigo and cases of lightheadedness. Been to lots of doctors and nobody found anything wrong with me.

I think I have something close to Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV). I can't tilt my head sideways or back without getting dizzy, and I have to sleep with my head propped up at an angle.

My lightheadedness "spells" seem to be random - I've never been able to figure out a cause. Best feeling I can describe it as is swimmy - it's like I'm on a boat and have a slight buzz - but not with the nice feeling, just the dizziness.

Anyone battle chronic dizziness? How do you deal with it? Find any good solutions?

I went to the doctor about this because I would get real lightheaded and dizzy in the morning, especially, but randomly throughout the day. They told me it was allergies(?), but I don't think it was. I haven't had it for about a year, so I'm not too worried about it, but every now and then randomly it will come about again.

EDIT: Actually now that I think of it it was definitely more than just in the morning. I was afraid to drive because everything would spin.

I get it sometimes when I stand up too quickly. I have a congenital heart defect that affects my lungs, though, and I think that's the cause. Not enough "good" oxygen in my body.
But yeah, I definitely get it. Only passed out twice in my life, though.

Yeah I had the same problem, random attacks of dizzinies. Doctors shrugged it off, after another visit to my doctor I got an intern and she suspected it could be meniere, got a referal to a TNE doctor, and after long testing he concluded it was indeed Meniere. Got meds now, and the dizzinies is mostly gone.
