not sure what i'm doing wrong then but when i open my playlist it doesn't show the newly added ones at the top, i have to scroll to the bottom to get my recently added stuff.

You're not doing anything wrong. The playlists are filtered by date added - oldest to newest. Would be handy if you could flip this but you can't.

ah ok then, it's a shame they don't have that. i asked in the apple music reddit for help as well and people said you can do it on the desktop app then sync playlists or something but i was just thinking why isn't there a option right there on mobile it seems like such a basic feature to have

This is honestly hilarious.This is unfortunate. Glad I did not buy a pair.
It makes perfect sense the wireless wouldn't support it. I'm more surprised a wired connection would not make it feasible.

I did wind up buying a pair and the spatial audio more than makes up for no lossless.

I am sure that there are very few people who could even hear the difference between lossless and a high bitrate anyway - it's just the mixed messaging from Apple is amusing to the point I am actually surprised they did this without having a compatible hardware solution.
