Applying at Team Ninja

DoA5 is no doubt around the corner too, so I figured with my application I would include some AI routines that they could go over. I figure my work can speak for itself.

Difficulty:

If Ninja Then Fast And Juggle
If Ninja in Karate Uniform Then AIInvincibility
If AILifeBar < 20% Then Invincibility
If PlayerComback Then Deny Comeback Victory If PlayerLifeBar < 100%
If AICharacterLoudObnoxious Then Initiate Loudest Moveset
If Player Positive Gain in TIMEATTACK Then AIChar Change Ninja with Karate Uniform


I figured id bounce if off you guys first.

That's just about the full extent of game AI these days.

No, it's not. Itagaki said himself that he did everything he wanted to do with DOA4 so there won't be a DOA fighting game for a long, long time.

Next up is DoAX2 (YAY), Project Progressive and then probably Ninja Gaiden 2.

Don't forget

If PlayerUsingCombo and AILifeBar < 20% Then Initiate Impossible Counters and 16 Hit Combo

Fucking robot AI.
 
Agreed - i threw my wireless controller at the projector screen trying to "smash the Tv"...

i hate getting someone close to death in time attack , just to get juggled the lenght of the screen then countered when i get up for a massive revenge attack.

doesn't help that i suck, but still, i can't help feel that some flag just flips in the game and the CPU decides "oh, time for you to die"
 
It's funny, I've actually avoided this game because of all the negative cheap AI reports and I feel like I've actually missed out some frustration.

My life is a little better for not having DoA4 in it!

I'm still having fun playing with friends/online though...
 
Don't forget:

If player=block then insta-throw
If player=crouch then insta-down throw

I like playing online because BLOCKING ACTUALLY WORKS!
