i say yes, and a little of no. your relationship with others does depend on your own maturity and choices you make. you can be very self destructive if you don't know what you are doing. But a relationship requires compatability so the relationship is dependant on both involed. the most thing you could do is pick the wrong person to build a relationship with, and suffer the consequences. i say it is pretty self destructing.

Depends what self you refering to.
When you in a relationship part of your own self is destroyed.
If you mean the relation as an entity is self destructive. I would say no there not if they blow up they were probable not a real relationship.
