One day when my kids might have families of their own I'll be a grand father clock no longer chasing the big hand youthful expense of round and round but enjoying the sights as my newfound little hand role guides in a complete circle of experience.

I'm not a clock, but I can clock you
timex, get binoculars just to watch you
space channel 5 just to watch chu
10 past 12 cough achoo
Don't need to tell time cuz I'm infinite
Clock's arms' frozen, but my rims' spinnin
Dads, ask ya boys, "Son, are you winnin?"
Cat's in the cradle--time's a jet, innit?

Everything eventually decays and fades in time and we're all just witnessing each other's slow inevitable death, so in a way everything in the universe is basically its own clock.

And to answer the question, of course I'm a 24 hour clock. Who would ever use (or be) the other dumb system anyway.

Why would you askew the base of the very system you use?

It was good enough for the ancient Egyptians; so it's good enough for you.

I'm a clock, I'm a lover
I'm a watch, i'm a mother
I'm a sundial, i'm Big Ben,
I do not feel ashamed

We're still using their measurement of time so... and you know, The Pyramids of Giza, or The Sphinx.
If they would have used the 24 hours format, the sphinx would be at least twice as big and the pyramids would have octagonal bases
