My mother is coming to visit, but my dad's got to work. This is the first time one of the parents have visited me for Labor Day weekend, and it's kinda cool. I'm very family oriented, and I enjoy when they come to see me rather than me driving 250+ miles home. It's like they get to see my workd when they're here Vs. back home where everything's all been done before.

Up here, we just had really good Thai for lunch, and while she was talking to my sis on her cell I went next door to visit the new head shop that just opened. I kinda feel like pretending I have school today and going to get espresso, but the downside is I've been sick with something I cought the past few days. Cigarettes, dusting one's fan blades, and helping a buddy mow some old lady's yard might just be the culpret. It's really kinda nice to have my mom up here to buy me meds, lunch, and spend time in general. ...Awesome weekend so far. ... so, G-A-ers, what are you doing for labor day? and is your family visiting you this year?

my parents came up this weekend, but only to help my little brother move into his freshman dorm. He doesnt go to the same school as me, but one that like 30-45 minutes away. So I went to help to score a free lunch/dinner. woohoo.
